Speaking & Conversations

God loves you.

What might change about the way we live if we actually believed that?

So much of how we approach health and wellbeing begins with trying to change ourselves.

Lose the weight.

Eat better.

Exercise more.

Get our stress under control.

Become more disciplined.

Get our lives together.

These things can matter.

But what if being well doesn't begin with fixing ourselves?

What if it begins with receiving the life we've been given, and learning to pay attention to it?

This is at the heart of my work through VOW Coaching.

I explore conversations about health, wellbeing, attention, whole-person living, faith, and what it means to live well in the middle of an actual life.

Conversation themes

Conversations I'm drawn to

I'm interested in conversations that help us slow down, see more clearly, and consider what it means to live well, not as a performance, but as a whole person living an actual life.

Whole-Person Health

Your health is more than your lab results, diagnosis, weight, or habits. What happens when we begin to see the whole person and the whole life?

The Rhythm of Paying Attention

Before we rush to fix, what might we discover if we slow down enough to notice what is actually happening?

When We're Functioning but Don't Feel Well

What if "I'm just tired" isn't the whole story? What happens when we become curious about the life we're actually living?

Health Without the Performance

What changes when caring for our health isn't another way of proving that we're doing life right?

Living From Love

How might the knowledge that we are already loved change the way we approach our bodies, our choices, our relationships, our work, our rest, and our lives?

About

A little about me

I'm an internal medicine physician, health and wellness coach, and founder of VOW Coaching.

My work brings together my background in medicine with a growing interest in the broader experience of health: how we feel, how we live, what shapes our wellbeing, and how we make choices within the realities of our lives.

At the center of my work is a simple conviction:

God loves you.

From that place, I explore what it means to live well, not as a performance, but as a whole person living an actual life.

Through VOW Coaching and the School of Attention, I create spaces for people to slow down, pay attention, and explore what it means to live well.
